Create and Share Your Own Enchanting Branch

After you have made some worthwhile changes to Enchanting, you'll need to commit the changes to your local branch and then push the changes to a branch on Launchpad. Alert the mailing list that it is there, we'll review the code and, most likely, integrate it into the trunk.

Before proceeding, you will need to:

• sign up for an account on Launchpad
• tell Launchpad what your SSH key is (and generate one first if needed)

The video goes through, in detail, how to upload a branch to Launchpad. It is worth noting that (despite earlier instructions to the contrary) you do not need to be a member of the Enchanting Team on Launchpad to put up a branch.
